Automated Life text alerts
Automated Life is system-monitoring software operated by William Rains. Its text-message program sends one-time verification codes and automated system alerts to users of the Automated Life dashboard who opted in themselves: William Rains and up to two other users, each with their own dashboard account set up by William Rains. The program sends no marketing or promotions.
What the texts say
Only fixed wording: a one-time verification code when someone turns texts on, and alerts that a monitored service went offline or came back online, a backup failed, a reminder is due, or a notification is waiting by email. Every text begins "William Rains (Automated Life):". Texts never include personal, client or health information.
How often
