Automated Life text alerts: privacy
What we collect
If you opt in to text alerts, we store your mobile number, the date and time you agreed, which version of the consent text you agreed to, the date you opted out (if you do), and a log of the texts sent to you. The log records each text's type and delivery status, never its content beyond the fixed alert wording.
How it's used
Only to send you the alerts you chose, and to keep a record of your consent.
Sharing
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is sent to our text-message provider, Twilio, only to deliver the alerts.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies, up to 10 messages a day. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP, or turn texts off on the dashboard. Your consent record is kept as proof of consent after you opt out, for 90 days.
How long we keep the log of texts
Each entry in the log of texts sent to you is deleted 90 days after the text was sent.
